Six Nations about to kick off 2015

Postby Tony Williams » Wed Feb 04, 2015 2:32 pm

It's tough being an Englishman in Wales at this time of year. Especially with a Welsh Nat for a wife. Thank God for two separate rooms with a TV in each. England V Wales on Friday evening. England ravaged by injuries but with great strength in depth, Wales with the tails up and huge confidence. Not to mention the massive fervent home support.
Any views?

Thanks Pinky. That would be a perfect result going into the World Cup. The first game is the big challenge. Two giant Welsh (Lion) centres. Been playing at a high level in France, less game time, but fresh. Also a very settled and experienced pack. Disruption in the English boiler house could cause some issues especially in the set piece. If the Bath contingent clicks and play to their potential, could be a very exciting game. Last time i watched this match up in my local (2013) I took masses of stick. Good job I have broad shoulders and a thick skin. Still, not to worry, I had my turn last year, and made the very best off it. I will be wearing a tin hat on Friday.......... just in case!

I normally do a Final Table Prediction competition for this but I have been busy with work and not visited the site as I normally do. Anyway after two games and I know it is easier but:

England
Ireland
France
Wales
Scotland
Italy

The crunch game being the Ireland-England in Dublin

Cheers Mac
