British & Irish Lions selection 2013.

Postby Taff » Mon Mar 18, 2013 2:33 am

Hi Guys, I will post my selection shortly but lets start off with the Captain.

In my opinion there are two main candidates.

My in-form choice would be Alan Wyn-Jones (Wales).
Most popular British choice Bod O'driscoll (Ireland).

I also think Farrel appointed as defensive coach is a political appointment and he should be replaced with Sean Edwards the in-form defensive coach. Just check the statistics.

The majority of the team will be Welsh, followed by Ireland, England and maybe a Jock full back or fly half.

Wales for ever.

Wait, wait, wait like a soldier . . .

Brisbane is gearing up for the visit of the British & Irish lions tour, although I do not follow Rugby I thought I would share these images from this weekends trip on the Brisbane River on the City Cat

Lions Rugby.
It seems to me that the more Welsh men that are on the field, the better they play.
Stuart Barnes is obviously commentating on different games to the ones I am watching.
Wade and Twelvetrees are totally out of their depth.
No on-field leadership in the game against the Brumbies, only real player of note was Toby Faletau.

Taff,

Badly selected team, I think they were just testing the new arrivals the little welsh winger, whats his name?looked out of his depth too.

The Irishman Best was awful and it was not until the replacements came on they bucked up

Obviously the real test will be on Saturday they have not played anybody of note yet although I hate to say it I think they will get beat not badly but beat.

You probably would have noticed the few players the Wallabies have been releasing for the provincial games have been outstanding.

Looking forward to both the test and the Junior World Cup Final England & Wales both teams have some handy looking players.

Cheers

Mac
