Day one over.

Frogs looking good. Italy failed to maintain last years momentum.
Jocks beat themselves. England were shite.
If your officer's dead and the sergeants look white,
Remember it's ruin to run from a fight:
So take open order, lie down, and sit tight,
And wait for supports like a soldier.
Wait, wait, wait like a soldier . . .

Cheers Lawrie always good to get money out of a Scottish person!

Hey Al is your wallet twitching yet?

Italy made the French look good, Scotland were bad and as Taff said beat themselves, England a great defence but no attack and as Bulldog said open to improvement a very inexperienced side and they will hammer the Italians next game.

Dave will arrange something soon.

Cheers

Mac

Well, what can I say :) We won at Murryfield,1st time since 2004 and with a green side,do agree the Scots lost it for themselves bless em!! But good defence and plenty to work on for England to improve. Just watched the Wales/Irish game, cracker, though the welsh should have been down to 14,spear tackle off the ball!!! Good game though ,nice and close. Bring on the next games :D
Always look on the bright side!!!

Just watched yet another replay of the infamous spear tackle and it should so have been a red card, in fact so red it should have been redder than red thing on a red day in red city
Always look on the bright side!!!

Bulldog you are correct, England were not shite, they just need developing, a lot.

Cracker today Ireland V Wales. Spear tackling is a grey area as we in Wales know to our world cup cost. The IRB need to sort it out. Nevertheless we will accept the win.

My prediction stands, though if the jocks click they could prove me wrong.

Wales for ever.

Best game of the weekend by far, although Wales should have had it sorted by half time.

I really felt for Rhys the first kicker but his last attempt landed in our garden.

Ireland should have took the advantage but alas it was not to be.

Still going with my prediction all teams will now get themselves sorted out,

Unsure how France will play under pressure or was it because Italy have improved so much (I Never saw most of the game)

England will get a lot better maybe not this year as I said its rebuild time

Role on next weekend

The welsh were just plain lucky.

Unlucky Ireland

Although I am at pains to admit it; Lawrie, I agree with you good game but Wales were very lucky.

I think by the end of next weekend the Teams will have sorted themselves out.

Cheers

Phil,

just looked at the league table, even Pinky would have worked it out.

as for Scotland, they could still be playing now and not score a try.
