Hi Lawrie,

Not seen the Scotland game yet but England were very lucky if the Argie kicker could kick that game would have been lost and do we need Wilkinson? Probably not, a good player but past his prime unfortunately.

But hopefully England will go through in first place and now that England has weakened Argentina, Scotland in second place.

Looking forward to Wales and South Africa an upset maybe!

Cheers

Mac

Hi Mac, Wilkinson    , could have taken the pressure if he got the missed 15 points, but there again forgivness, as he did win us the world Cup.
I cant see wales getting closed to South Africa, but for Taff Reece sake please let them win.

All Blacks look good though.
no predictions yet

cheers mac

Can't see past new Zealand, although there is that nagging feeling about the pressure getting to them.
England, unfortunately don't seem to have a Plan B.
Don't count out the French, if the right team turns up!!

Watched the game England were dire, seems like a total loss of confidance, perhaps the win against the Argies will buck their ideas up, other wise it'll be an early bath in the next round when we start to meet real oppossition.

Come on Ireland what a cracking game! The Aussies do not like it up em!!

Got to fancy Ireland for the semis at least.

England should walk the Georgia game but need to use it for a confidence boost and some individual play.

I think Johnson is too forward biase, let the Backs have some ball with the Back Row supporting rather than keeping it in the tight five!

Cheers

I totally agree Mac, they showed nothing like that sort of form in the warm ups.
It would be nice to see 2 northern hemisphere teams in the final.
England should be careful of injuries against Georgia.
Could comp so far, bring it on

Bit better from England. Far too many penalties which will be punished by the better teams.Still need to commit more to the breakdown. Having said that Georgia are a tough nut to crack

Agree Keith,

Still not very convincing but Georgia played well. Do enough to get to Quarter Final but afterwards?

Saying that they were not that convincing in the Group Stage last World Cup and still made final.

Fingers crossed

Cheers

Hi Mate,

The French Team are going to struggle against the better sides; Canada give them a really good game on Sunday it was only in the last 15 minutes that the French got the better of them.

Quarter Finals and no further unless the pick up big style.

Cheers

Reckon the last four will be New Zealand. Austrailia, South Africa and England

Final will be ENgland v South Africa and we will take them to the cleaners, I base this final result on the fact that the super 11s series the Southern Hemisphere teams take part in will mean England will have to much left in the tank (If I'm dreaming somebody wake me up)

The England team are judging the pace of the competition well and improving with each game,

Bring it on
