Service Details: Attached to the regiment as AQMS around 1981 just as they were getting IFCS. Best posting of my army career. Many fond memories (and just one bad one, lol!).

Was a tiffy around 1979 then went to REME Tech Svcs where I met him. He was a valuable member of my shooting team and it was him who gave me tips before I joined the regiment. Not sure if they were good tips or not, lol.

Jim Was D.Sqns Tiffy Had the nick name NM&D not that he knew it. I got to know him quite well when we went to Andytown in 78 he was the office manager of our Int Cell. The last time I saw Jim was on a FFR inspection he was heading up the team.
Jim is on the left.Big Geoff, me, Joe, an angle iron and Chalkie.
