The very nature of stone means we won't get a perfect representation. We probably wouldn't want to anyway, it has to look like stone, not a painting. My understanding is that the engraving and placement of the stone is carried out by the NMA and with 3000 stones to make I guess they know exactly what they are doing.
I think it's important though that we provide as clear an image of what we want as possible.
Now that the £2000 has been confirmed I'm taking our application on to the next stage.
