WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE TROOP

Postby Johnny Morris » Thu Mar 12, 2009 11:10 am

I was wondering if; during your time in the regiment , was there a favourite troop or maybe tank crew you were in that stood out above all the others as memorable and for what reason?

Regards to all

I think it has to be SHQ troop A Sqn at the end of Paderbourne.
The guys that were in it at the time are all guys I have been mates with and kept in touch with ever since to one degree or another.
Geoff Hutchinson
Jim Harrison
DRAC
Bob Smith
Denis Eadsforth
Etc.

Cheers Ron

One of the best for me was B sqn in Paderborne with the tank crew of 22A
Lou Yankey
Larry Hamblin
Jeff Mather
and me,

It was just so much fun and although I was lucky enough to have many good guys with me for many years after that, 22A always stood out.
