When we used to swim our AFV's, in my day, they still looked like AFV's. That's a brilliant camouflage job :lol: :lol: !

Bill,
that's not an AFV, it's an FFV, (Flintstone Fighting Vehicle).

Do you mean that the driver has to get his feet wet when peddling ?

Not much changed then eh :wink: !

FFV = Flintstone Floating Vehicle.
(I can make out which one is Fred and even Barnie, but the girls aren't wearing their 'floats' :lol: :lol: )

Arnie,

not heard from Rick for some time and, as he lives just around the corner from you, thought that you might have some contact ... ?

Bill,

I will pop round and see him in the morning, but you will have to wait awhile for news that way. He lives 2,241 miles (air) round the corner. That's 3,606 kms round the corner. Or I will take the car, it is only 4311 kms, which driving at the speed limit, assuming you stay on ALL major roads, is 112 kph. This will take me 38 hrs, 29 mins. 1993 I crossed the Nullabor in a Holden Commodore, towing a laden trailer, from Perth to Sydney a shorter distance and it tore the heart out of the 3 litre, 6 cylinder engine. Current car is only a Toyota Hatchback 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder car.
So it will have to be the phone. Next time I am in Brisbane I owe him dinner anyway so will say 'allo. Will that do?

Arnie :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
