Thanks Paul. You've explained the situation perfectly.

I met with Steve and Jenni (HHQ(N)) for lunch a few days ago and this was one of the topics.

Whilst I agree with everyone that the wall particularly can look drab in the depths of winter it can surely only be refurbished under the advice of professionals. Steve is very aware that the woodwork, which sits inside each of the unused ashes containers, is perhaps in need of the most urgent attention. Offers have been made to help with any planned clean-up and Steve is also well aware of that.

I think, and hope, that we'll see some information soon from HHQ.

Peter, thanks for the excellent set of photographs from both inside and outside the Church and the Columbarium.

Thanks Bob, my pleasure. Was there any mention about the Regiment being offered the side Altar?

On seeing the Columbarium over the weekend I am pleased to tell you that it is immaculate. Considerable amount of time and probably money has been spent to bring it to the expected standard. Well done to all concerned.
