Postby Bob_H » Sat Dec 28, 2013 6:42 pm

Beginning with the 1960 'B' Squadron cricket team.

No names (for now) but if you look carefully you should be able to name a few: (more to come)

Ken Kendall - Pete Holland - John Boulter - Roy Hudson - Cfn. ? - Herbie Long
Reynolds - Major English - 'Cats' Clark - Baxter
The guy rear left has been to a few Reunions?

1 - You're right Bob, but can't bring a name to mind (Back of my mind "Ken" keeps coming to me) ?
2 - Know the face , but not the name
3 - Derek Ingham ?

Herbie, easily recognisable, the remainder, no idea.
Regards

Brian, good try,
1. Correct, but "Ken" ?;
2. The name is better known than the face;
3. Not Derek but there's a clue in the 1st message.

I played both Football & Cricket for B Squadron during my RAPC attachment from 1959 to 1961 but must have been on leave when this photo was taken. Although 50+ years have now passed I can remember a few of the faces
1. Ken Kendall, Roy Huson is wearing the dark trousers and Herbie Long is on the end. Mike Reynolds is at the front next to Major Bob English. Ken, Herbie and Mike also played in the Squadron Football team and are on a photo in my gallery of pictures.

Hi Bob

If I remember my faces, the person with the jacket on in backrow is Peter Holland Micks brother.
