Having finally taken the time to take a look at the collection of videos I have to say it was an hour well spent and I recommend it to one and all. Thanks to Paul for making it available, to those who took the footage and those who have preserved it for us.

Alf was my troop sgt in Cyprus, Paddy Cullen was troop Cpl. What a marvelous pairing we worked hard but were allowed to laugh as we got it done . I rememebr that the RSM of the resident infantry regt wanted us to do two things one was to join in on their weekly Regimental Parde so we drove on in Sal...

Aliwell Barracks was my first posting with the regiment back in 1972, other former JL mates went straight to Hong Kong or Singapore, lucky beggars. Still others went straight to NI, not so lucky I guess. I realise that the old barracks has long since been replaced with a less characterful complex. N...
