GM all, what great photo!s of reunion, at 85 made me study all faces, i recognised 1 or two, but cannot put a name to them, so frustrating, however i will make spwecial effort next year to attend as now having moved back to yorkshire from Dorset Blackpool a bit nearer, dont travel to well these days...

I seem to recall that the 1420H plate purchased for our Colonel-in chief, was bought from a company which had it registered to a milk float.(I think Bill Williams was the instigator) I bought the "K14XXH" plate which was the nearest to the Regiments title. (unless anybody knows a better o...

if i am correct i think toby townson was on the advance party to Tripoli in 51 Hi Maxine, had a lovely letter from John, and many names and events were mentioned, am writing back soon and sending him a 14@20th kings Hussars lapel badge, great to talk to old pals, thanx have a very merry xmas regard...

I Knew Sid Jude very well also his brother ration Cpl in 1948 at Catterick Mrmim Lines,Sid was a terrier but good Hawk, as a L/C in the QM store everyone kept clear of Sid , His store pal was Wally Taylor later SSM in Lybia 68. I understand Sid died and buried in Cyprus, qoute,

Apart from Eddie Downing and I, is there anyone else on Noah's that sailed with the Regiment to Tripoli in 1953? :P i think Bodge brown was on the Lancashire Bill also second you anninverary message, to all Hawks, not many of us old uns left Bill, would love to hear how many still with us from 1946...
